At Plemstall Consulting we believe the whole point of implementing Lean Six Sigma is to enhance your organisation’s ability to execute your business strategy (it is not about just learning lots of tools). Our programs emphasise a practical approach geared to delivering those real-world results. If you prefer a more academic theoretical approach you should probably go elsewhere. We will cover enough theory for you to understand the concepts, but we will not get you so lost that you miss the application of the concepts.
However, we understand that some people require a formal accreditation program. Unlike most other consultancies we do not make any money from accreditation. Most accreditation bodies charge several fees to us and the delegates (you). The “problem” with Lean / Six Sigma etc. is that everyone claims that the accreditation that they offer is the best.
Also, there is an external standard ISO 18404 which operates via the Royal Statistical Society and is for Lean and Six Sigma separately not both.
Do we offer certification? YES!
For your reassurance, all of our Green, Black and Master Black Belt training courses follow the syllabus guidelines outlined in the ISO 18404 standard published 2015.
In addition our Green and Black Belts courses have been assessed against the American Society of Quality (ASQ), Institue of Leadership and Management (ILM) and the British Quality Foundation (BQF) bodies of knowledge. Our courses cover all the topics.
We believe that project delivery rather than “exams” is the way forward but you can rest assured that what we offer is aligned with worldwide certification.
Certification Options
- We can offer a Plemstall Consulting certification which mirrors what all the major certification bodies offer.
- We work with an associate company that holds the licence for accreditation for the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). We offer this as a cost option.
- We can offer support and consultancy to achieve accreditation with all of the major accreditation bodies.
